Individual Therapy
1:1 therapy focusing on neurodivergence, religious and complex trauma, fat liberation and eating disorders, and queer/trans identities.
Primary modalities are relational therapy, attachment-based therapy, somatic (Trauma Resiliency Model) therapy, and parts work.
Individual therapy includes exploring trauma through trauma specific modalities, sharing one's story in a safe space, processing the impact of minoritized identities and how that affects how one moves through the world, and focusing on decreasing levels of shame while increasing self-compassion.

Group Therapy
Religious Trauma Group:
This group is for women (and femme identified), queer folks, and non-binary folks who are looking to process religious trauma in a group setting. There will be space to process the way religious trauma has impacted one’s body, as well as space to learn how to heal the impact religious trauma has on one’s body. Topics include: deconstruction, rebuilding spiritual practices, sexuality and gender, and purity culture. Anyone at any level of deconstruction and deconverting from religion is welcome!
Fat Liberation Group:
This group is for fat/plus size/larger bodied women (and femme identified) and non-binary folx wanting to process their relationship with food, their body, and diet culture in a group setting. Whether you’ve completely ditched diet culture and are looking for others who are on the journey or you have just begun realizing the harmful affects of diet culture, you are welcome here. Topics will include dating as a fat person, medical fatphobia, lack of accessibility, and one’s relationship to their body. There will be space to begin creating a kinder, more nurturing relationship with one’s body.

Public Speaking & Presentations
Anna regularly presents on their niches: neurodivergence, fat liberation and dismantling anti-fat bias, and religious trauma.
They have presented at several group practices, the keynote for International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals Winter Gala, as well as treatment centers for eating disorders and complex mental health challenges.

Consultation Groups
Anna Nokes (she/they), LCSW and Lauren Johnson (he/him) LPC lead a free support group for neurodivergent mental health providers. It meets virtually every other Friday at 9:30am CDT.

Consultation
Anna regularly consults on religious trauma, neurodivergence affirming eating disorder care, fat liberation and eating disorders, and neurodivergence. Her rates are $150 per hour with sliding scale for BIPOC folks, pre-licensed folks, and students.

Supervision
Anna can provide supervision for LSWs and LPCs in the state of Illinois. Her rate is $150 per hour of supervision. She focuses her supervision areas on therapists who specialize in neurodivergence, religious trauma, and fat liberation and eating disorders. They also supervise generalist neurodivergent therapists looking for neurodivergent affirming supervision from an AuDHD LCSW.
