Hi, I’m Myah Knight, LPC, LCPC!
Myah Knight (she/her) is a multi-state licensed mental health therapist offering hybrid services in Arizona and telehealth across Idaho, Illinois, North Carolina, and Florida. She specializes in trauma-informed, multicultural care for adults (25–55) with marginalized identities, including race, gender, sexual identity, and neurodivergence.
Myah earned her degrees in Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University, where her work centered on intersectional identity, resilience, and healing. She is a published contributor to the Journal of LGBTQ Issues in Counseling, with research focused on minority stress, inherent strengths, and the role of creative expression in recovery.
With over six years of experience across private practice, national mental health organizations, and crisis intervention settings, Myah integrates evidence-based approaches such as ACT, CBT, DBT, and ERP. Her integrative work is especially supportive for individuals navigating OCD, social anxiety, phobias, and long-standing patterns of people-pleasing or self-silencing.
Myah helps clients move from survival mode to a life rooted in authenticity, self-acceptance, and empowerment. She values genuine connection and brings warmth, honesty, and humor into the therapy space—creating an environment where clients feel seen, supported, and safe to face their fears and reclaim their lives.
